It's jue's bday today but we celebrated her bday earlier on Saturday nite 10 march @ Alexis Ampang...

As usual, book table ramai2 tapi yg actual turn up tak ramai...and lambat plak tu!!.. .supposed to be a surprise party (as requested by YB Fandi - jue's hubby)....tapi bday girl yg surprise kan kitorg hehehehe....it was one of the most 'pening' event ever handled...firstly invitees lambat...they were suppose to get there long before the bday girl arrives....secondly, cake tak de!!...alexis ran out of cakes that day...of all time!!...so had to mintak backup plan runners Has and Maya to detour jap pegi cari cake...they got vegetarian cake...wha?. ..dont panic, all the same only no eggs...sedap gak sebenarnya...at first i thot the cake would be layered with salads or tomatoes or timuns...hehehehe.....

Oh well, everything well after that and we proceeded over to Luna Bar for more chill out session...Alexis was getting packed and noisy with a performance by Mr Gambus and his jazz band....yes, he played the gambus....but it was not bad actually.....

I had to work on Christmas Eve...there was a golf event that we organized for the customers...so after the bosses and guests teed off, me, Z and Has went to hit some balls at the driving range....gaya mesti ada beb!!...betol ke tidak ketok bola tu, nasib aje lerr....hehehe....

18 October 2006, Jue gave birth to a healthy baby boy - Iskandar Hakimi...hello baby Is!!!....3.93 kg...very big woooo!!!!....if only you've seen the mommy, sure tak caya....kecik,halus,genit....hehehe

kitorg dtg jenguk kat hospital, dia dah mula nyanyi....waaaaahhhh so merdu ah your voice...just like mommy's...can go karaoke la when u grow up...daddy Is aje la nanti bosan dok situ...sure tido....hehehehe....zaara oso like to sing2...we'll have a family karaoke gathering one day....hahahaha....

anyway....congratulations to Jue & Fandi....so happy for you guys....nanti Zaara and Is can gang up and buli Abg Danial....hehehehhee.....

last weekend, our whole family (including my mom’s siblings) decided to balik kampung in Rembau for buka puasa and to do it old school style....
so we all gathered at my late great-grandmother's (nyang) old house....the house was recently renovated and upgraded by my mom....mom stayed and grew up at the house with nyang...and all the while nyang was blind....so mom had to fend for herself and for nyang....such burden and responsibility at such a young age...(gua suspect lu la mommy!) ....so the old house has a nostalgic spot in my mom's life.....a very BIG spot I must say…she gets all teary eyed whenever we mention about that house…sheesshhh….
anyway....back to the old school style thingy........morning2 kacau dodol...all the way till afternoon....in fact it went all the way till evening!...at the same time, there were workers constructing (hehehe) an outdoor 'restroom'....told ya it's old school.. ..hihihhihi....and then at the same time, the papa's and ayah's and abah's (which includes my hubby, my bro, pak su and abg isa) were trying (really hard) to put up a swing for the kids...well actually i think it was them who really wanted to play on the swing... .....after all the cooking and the building bla bla bla, it was time to buka puasa....we buka-ed outside buffet style....cam buat bbq plak...padahal mkn lauk2 kampung tapi best....(spoiled my ‘no rice diet’..can’t resist such good food!)…after buka, it was time for war!!!...mercun bunga api!!!.. ..i brought along the firecrackers that i bought to let my lil cousins play...but as usual, it's always the adults who acted like children (i.e me, hubby, bro and pak su) ....excited terlebih....after a very long but exciting day, some of us departed back to KL while most of the relatives stayed on…they’ve decided to put up a night at the house….sure best tido ramai2…tapi torcer ah toilet+bathroom ada satu je! …hahahaha…tak sanggup tunggu beb!!!….hihihihi…..
this raya we’re celebrating at kampong Rembau…I hope it’s gonna turn out a blast like old times….and my bro and pak su are going there early to build a double storey tree house….konon utk anak2 la….yeah right!!… .

Happy 1st Bday sayang.....u are truly our miracle baby...may Allah bless you with all the greatness He can give...

some of Zaara's milestone as at 1st bday:
1. zaara can say mama & papa....but she would always look at our pictures when she say 'mama' or 'papa'....bibik slalu tunjuk gmbr mama & papa masa kitorg keje...so i guess zaara associates 'mama & papa' to the pictures...
2. still can't walk....takut nak melangkah...but she can stand and dance!! (anak mama ni)....
3. speech wise...no particular word (besides mama-papa)...but she sings and hums....(anak mama lagi ni)....
4. tak takut bila org marah (anak papa ni)....tapi takut bila dengar bunga api and whistle.... ....
5. suka main air sangat2....she will merajuk whenever we take her out of her tub....

Anyway....like to thank Maya for the gifts...really cute!!!...and the sandals fits her nicely...baju pon ok tapi sluar panjang sket....bigger better...can wear longer....hehehehe....oh and we had to make her wear the sandals at all time at home so that dia biasa pakai kasut tu....

Went for Cuk's daugther's 1st bday...Happy 1st Bday Tristan Alexis Winarto Putri!!!!....panjang benar nama tu....isi borang cukup kotak tak tu?..hehehehe....
anyway, it was suppose to be a baby's party but biasa la...ended up jadi org2 tua's party....hehehehe...had the fairytale theme...Tristan was dressed in a Princess costume...clutched a unicorn stuff toy....siap ada backdrop castle....and a castle cake....
parents lepak outside while the babies 'chilled' in the play pen. ...hehehehe....i guess Tristan terkejut tgk ramai sgt budak2 her age, she just kept quiet the whole time...while on the contrary, Zaara plak cam tak penah nmpk budak2 so nak buat kawan aje la....becok!!....bising!!....when everyone was singing the birthday song for tristan, zaara pon nak join sama...tapi 'aaaaaaaaaaa!!!' aje la.... hehehe....but it was fun watching my baby making friends with other babies and kids...kesian dia, everyday terperap kat rumah dgn bibik and wan dia aje.....
Zaara's 1st bday is next month tapi during bulan puasa...maybe just gonna have a small scale kenduri doa selamat and buka puasa thingy je....

yesterday i came back home to a 'new' baby!!....what a shock i had looking at zaara with her new haircut!!...my mom rimas tgk fringe zaara is too long so she decided to play hair stylist and cut zaara's fringe...kelakar la muka anak aku skarang ni....papa panggil anak org iban...mama panggil amoi leng loi....what do you think?...

here are some latest photos of zaara....ramai yg kata lama tak tgk zaara....i think she's about 13 kg now...yes i know...very heavy for a 10 months old baby!!!!....my shoulders and arms aches everytime i have to carry her....sakit sampai naik ke urat belakang tengkok plak tu...hishhhh....despite being big and active she is still unable to walk yet...just cruising around in her playpen...or crawl really2 fast!!....she has TWICE gone MIA in the house!!!...tiba2 ada at the top of the stairs....panic wooooo....

Over the weekend, we went to Penang sempena khalid (al-walid's) wedding...sambil2 tu berholiday la kitaorg...hehehehe....

3 cars berkonvoi heading towards Penang...dlm tak sedar, sumer keter honda plak tu...hehehehe....and Yan provided walkie-talkies for each car...it wasn't used much to communicate about the traffic or whereabouts...instead it was used as a channel to lepaskan kebosanan - fendo sang 'dontcha' - danial cried 'on air' - zaara babbled - zain talked crap - syahril sounded like a police traffic officer - yan bunyi cam dj shopping complex...hehehehee....jgn marah eh geng...saje teringat gelagat masing2 dpt walkie-talkie...cam budak2!!....

anyway...stayed at Crown Jewel Tanjung Bungah...suppose to be 4 stars hotel...hmmm yarr sure, watever....ok it was cheap...RM50 for a big room...but the towels were like tissue paper...no cotton buds...no slippers...byk la benda2 tak de....so no wonder it's only RM50...hehehehe....sampai2 je petang tu trus terjun swimming pool...zaara had a blast swimming!...as for danial, hmmmm sejuk yer danial?...kesian dia menggigil....mlm tu pegi mkn2 kat tapak sementara hawker center Gurney Drive...re-located kat depan Marina Bay due to the tsunami....had a looooooooooooooot of fooooooooood!!!!...yummmmmmy fooooood!!!!....syahril asyik2 hilang and bawak balik benda2 pelik....but nice!....after dinner, we went to batu feringghi...kononnye mcm petaling street la....tapi tak byk choice ah...and the workmanship were not as good as PS'....

the next day was Khalid's wedding reception....ooooh dok kat kg syed rupanya mamat ni....rasa cam gi wedding pak arab la plak...ramai jejaka2 hemsem ala2 arab gitu...hehehehe....went there for free lunch!...after that we left for our journey back to KL...except for fendo, syahril, bern and kandaq....they stayed on till monday....

well i have to say it was a fun (but tiring) weekend...somehow rasa tak puas...hope to have another road trip soon...jom gi redang plak nak?....

p/s:on 28 May, a day before zaara's 8 mths bday...dia jatuh katil for the 1st time!...panic woooo!!!!... zain tertido while i was in the toilet....trus zain phobia...tidokan zaara atas lantai...hehehehe

to all mummies & babies and ladies who are going to be or wanna be mummies....HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!!!.....

i took my mum for a spa treatment at tini spa in seksyen 7 shah alam on saturday...sooooooo relaxing....yar very the relaxing until my mummy started snoring during facial treatment!...hehehehe... i was next to her doing the body scrub, embarrased ok ....all in all, mum was happy with the surprise and hope that it was mother's day everyday!..pokai ler aku nanti.....as for me, being a mum is whole new learning adventure....and i have not had a REAL GOOD NITE SLEEP since zaara came into my life...so all of you going to be / wanna be mummies, are u sure u wanna do this? ...hehehhehee....but all those keletihan and kesakitan badan jiwa dan raga will disappear when u look into your baby's peaceful slumbering face....sigh.....if only i can sleep like a baby....

so on mother's day, i had a girls day out lunch2...with Cuk and Aishah....haven't seen them for a long time...well me and aishah had to wait for Cuk for like 1 hour....but nevertheless, the food and company was good....ate at Bakerzin in Bangsar Village...tho i've passed by the cafe so many times but today was the first time i ate there...and my verdict...the desserts are to die for!!....mmg i'll die trying to put off the kilos that i've put on today ....arrrrrrr....blame aishah for this!!

so again all mothers in the world..Happy Mother's Day!...
